BACKGROUND CC Eval Prep, a privately owned company, is a Common Criteria consulting firm consisting of staff with extensive experience in Common Criteria both from an evaluator and consultant perspective. CC Eval Prep offers this on-hand experience to your advantage in successfully achieving your Common Criteria certification needs. Such experience derives from the following founder of CC Eval Prep.
TREY HENEFIELD Trey Henefield, Principal and founder of CC Eval Prep, brings his ten years in IT experience with seven of those years including Common Criteria experience both as a consultant and evaluator. Trey originally started in the area of Common Criteria in June of 1999 with TÜViT Inc., which was later renamed to Seculab Inc. as part of an acquisition by Secunet. During his time at Seculab, he assisted in the establishment of one of the first five Common Criteria labs within the United States. He also assisted in the preparation of Common Criteria assurance documents and performed the evaluation of the Smart Card Security User Group (SCSUG) Protection Profile. When Trey initially started with TÜViT, he received Common Criteria training at the TÜViT GMBH facilities in Essen, Germany and at the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) facilities in Bonn, Germany. He also attended a protection profile development course at the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) facilities in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Since TÜViT/Seculab, Trey has provided assistance with 3 different Common Criteria consulting/evaluation firms. During such time, he assisted with 17 independent Common Criteria evaluations, of which many included compliance with a protection profile. Trey also assisted with 2 additional CCTL accreditations. In addition, Trey assisted with the development of two protection profiles which include a protection profile for smartcards with .NET technology and a protection profile for Direct Recording Equipment (DRE). |
